Description of Project:
Shell accepted responsibility for two oil spills in the Delta region of Nigeria in 2008 and 2009. Poseidon provided desk study inputs to make a preliminary assessment of the financial losses to the Bodo community in terms of the fisheries sector impacts, and the economic impacts on mangroves in the area.
