Description of Project:
Assessment was made of the fish stock status in the high seas areas of the CECAF region.

Services Provided:
This included information for all commercial species, on potential and current stock biomass, current exploitation levels, trends in exploitation levels, and estimated MSY. Information was also collected on the number, nationality and type of vessels fishing in the area and their seasonal patterns of activity.
