Description of Project:
The global objective of this project was to strengthen preparation of Croatian public fisheries administrations and institutions with a view to establish effective functioning inside the EU. Specific objectives were the preparation of a multi-annual pre-accession programme for the Department of Fisheries; the completion of the PHARE 2005 programming; and enhancing the enhancing the programming capacity of the institution. The work was carried out in conjunction with partners COWI.

Services Provided:
The report is divided into three components:

Analysis of the fishery sector;

Preparation of the multi-annual programme

Preparation of the multi-annual project fiche. Specific attention is paid to institutional MCS strengthening and identification of appropriate marketing systems.
