DG MARE Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (European Commission) - Project Dates:
March 2015 - March 2021

Description of Project:
The European Commission, represented by the Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (DG MARE), concluded a service contract with GOPA consulting for the provision of services in support of Fisheries and Aquaculture Monitoring and Evaluation (referred to as "FAME") under the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) 2014-2020.

The aim of FAME was to foster the development of the Common Monitoring and Evaluation System (CMES) established by Article 107 of the EMFF Regulation. To achieve this, FAME provided support at the EU level but also in the Member States.
