A Fisheries Technical Paper and Technical Guidelines to the FAO Code of Conduct were prepared on Increasing the Role and Contribution of Small-scale Fisheries to Poverty Alleviation and Food Security.

Services Provided:
Both documents considered the current and potential role of small-scale fisheries to contribute to poverty alleviation both within the fisheries sector, and outside it, and ways of increasing the contribution of small-scale fisheries.
