Recertification of the Northern Prawn Trawl Fishery, Australia Australia

Description of Project:
Poseidon provided the Team Leader and P2 and P3 experts for the recertification of the MSC Northern Prawn prawn trawl fishery. The assessment covers 6 prawn species, and assesses the governane structure of the Australian Commonwealth fisheries management system under the MSC criteria. The work was undertaken for the Northern Prawn Fishing Industry Ltd, under the direction of MRAG Americas.
