Description of Project:
This project reviewed the current aquaculture licensing process in Jersey, and based on an evaluation of different policy options for the future, made recommendations about a licensing strategy for the future, and mechanisms for its implementation. Preparation of the licensing strategy involved extensive consultation with stakeholders in Jersey, review of case studies elsewhere in the world, and completion of an impact assessment for different policy options.
