Description of Project:
Preparation of a Globefish report on the market for seafood in the Metropolitan area of London, published as part of the FAO’s successful series of Globefish market reports.

Services Provided:
The report provided a guide to foreign exporters (or national traders) who might wish to sell product into the London market. A thorough review was provided of demand for seafood by species and product form for both the retail and food service sector. Supply channels were examined along with trends in prices, and a SWOT analysis provided of Billingsgate market. A list of importers, processors and distributors in the London area is also provided.
