Description of Project:
In 2012 the UK Fisheries Economics Network (UKFEN) produced best practice guidelines for the economic evaluation of the fishing industry to inform ongoing requirements for valuations associated with marine development and protection.

Services Provided:

Poseidon drafted the first edition of the UKFEN guidelines based on an UKFEN workshop dealing with valuation of fishing. Seafish asked Poseidon to help facilitate a second workshop and update a second edition of the guidelines.
