Description of Project:
In recent years the port of Bridlington has seen substantial changes to its fleet with a shift from a reliance on whitefish to shellfish. The study, undertaken in asociation with the Sea Fish Industry Authority, examined the current status of the inshore fisheries targeted by the fishing fleet operating from Bridlington.

Services Provided:
Poseidon undertook extensive stakeholder consultation to highlight the current situation and to develop a strategy for the long-term sustainable development of the port’s fisheries.
